Question in the title, has anyone noticed a marked improvement in their horses feet while they've been on Formula4Feet? Do you think it's worth the money?
My horse has been on it since last November and although her feet are improving very slowly, I'm not convinced the improvement is due to the F4F.

Would like to know other people's experiences/recommendations.

Thanks

I'm trying it but only been using it for a month so difficult to say - my vet approved but did warn me it takes 9 months for a hoof to grow from start to finish so not to expect quick results.

I thought I did see an improvement when I used it but not a huge one. I stopped it after a bout of colic (I stopped everything then started adding them back slowly) because I noticed he started cribbing more & had looser droppings when it was fed. Having said that the problem is this lad's stomach rather than F4F which was actually one of the few hoof supplements he could tolerate without getting very loose droppings.

I found I got nearly as good a result with a full dose of Feedmark's Benevit. I now have him on Top Spec Antilam which contains a hoof supplement that, they tell me, is on a different base to the others on the market. So far I haven't seen any signs of an upset stomach & I think there's better hoof growth but it's early days as I'm only on my second sack. I suffer from wishful thinking where Jim's toes are concerned :o

My fella has been on it now for 4 months. I live in Wilts, so went down to the laminitus clinic/ Robert Eustace and had a chat with them, i will be honest and say that it has improved my fella, even my farrier agree`s it is good- but i must say i have used it because Harry has had LGL, and it therefore provides all vits he needs bearing in mind he is muzzled all day, stabled at night - i know it`s not just for lamanitic prone horses, but i think combined with correct feeding, exercise - it does help :) Expensive i know, but worth it for peace of mind :)

I use F4F on my mare, and have noticed a remarkable difference in her feet.

She used to have the typical crumbly TB feet, but now they are really ahrd and strong. She has been on it for nearly a year.

:)

I gave it to Roxy for a while, when i first started feeding it I did notice and improvement in her bars, which is pretty good really since they're by far the worst bit of her feet. But apart from the initial improvement the only difference between being on it and off it I've noticed is slightly faster growth when on it. Since growth isn't a problem at the moment I'm saving my money.
