Funny lump

Giving Dan a scratch this morning I found a lump on his chest, bit of a scab in the middle of a small bald patch and the lump is under the skin, about the size of half a sprout, about where my fingers are here


Pulled the little scab off and a little root type thing came out with it, I'm suspecting it's what's left of a tic and the lump is a reaction or little abscess, I trimmed the fur back and gave it a good scrub and sudocrem, it's not hot or sensitive so hoping it will resolve quickly.

Poor Dan. Yuk to tics! Don't think (touch wood) we have them here. There might have been soms at old place, guessing there must have been for her to have suspected Lymes?

Poor boy. Looks like a tick bump to me too. Brave you!

Dan's lump has all but gone the vet was out yesterday for Jess so I asked her about it, she agreed likely a tic.
