Good grief poor you, what an experience.

I don't have time to respond fully right now but just wanted to say WELL DONE for sticking with it and don't lose heart - somewhere there's a horse for you.

Thanks so much @Jane&Ziggy . I know there is and I feel more and more that when the time is right, it will come. I just need to be patient...which is easier that it sounds sometimes but I know it will be worth it in the end.
