I work down my old yard Sunday's and was first there, nice and early at half 6.

Sadly came across the littlest oldest pony of the yard flat out with very bad colic.

Poor little guy was in alot of pain and clearly had been for many hours. Lots of injuries from thrashing around :(

Managed to get him up, thankfully he's tiny and into a bigger stable. He was in so much pain, desperately trying to roll.

Vet out lots of pain meds and whatever else he could give. Sadly it's looking very much like he is going to have to be pts.

So sad he is such a sweet little old man :(

So now I'm sitting in the sun with ale in his field just so grateful to have him.

We lost a horse on our yard to colic on Friday. He was a lovely old horse and was the grand age of 28. The yard isn't the same without him.

I hope he will pull through..not a nice way to go for an old pony..:( I pray that my wee old one will just slip away peacefully one day...Have you had any news on how he is doing?
