Salsa's foreleg looks 100% now after months of resting it, so I was planning to go for a quiet sit on him tomorrow morning.
No chance
He's done something to his hind leg. No heat, no swelling, no injury but it's obviously quite painful. He's in tonight on the vet's advice and we'll see where we stand in the morning (or how he stands!). I'm worried because this is how his lymphangitis started in January, and although it was easily sorted with a week of box rest and some anti-biotics, I can really do without the massive vet bill, and I'm desperate for lights at the yard. We're apparently getting a generator soon, but nothing has happened yet and I was frustrated to tears tonight trying to sort Salsa out with the world's most pathetic camping light.
