Goodbye Marilyn

My rat Marilyn died this morning. I am pleased i didn't have the tumour operated on, as she died at home where she belonged, with me and her sister. She may be just a rat but she is my rat, and i will miss her dearly.

To put icing on the cake her sister Marlene has a small tumour now so it wont be long before i writing on here again.

RIP Marilyn. I totally understand your feelings as I used to keep ratties. They are lovely pets and so easy to get very attached to. My last 2 came to Hungary with me. They are both gone now, and burried in the hedgerow. Kx

I had rats as well. They were great pets, behaved like dogs and came for call.
It is a shame they can't live longer.

I too have had rats,mice and other little pets. they're so special and although not long lived, leave an empty space when they die. my little silver sussex hen passed away today too. thinking of you and RIP Marilyn X
