A while ago yos daughter evented Robin a couple of times alongside her mare. They were going to a BE event a decent 3 hours drive away so we put them both in same trailer and yo really kindly drove them both. Yo has her own separate stables and her mare can be a bit grumpy so we checked to see they would be ok before we left.
By the time we got there Robin was in love! It so happened they were wearing identical rugs and hoods and are same shade of bay too.
She was doing the novice and there was def some hero worshiping going on! By the time we got home both were in love.
Since then anytime he sees her he looks love struck and desperately tries to get her attention. That was 4 years ago.
So fast forward and he is on box rest. As she is. So yo has put her in the stable beside him. Robin is besotted. She initially told him to go away quite strongly. A couple of hours later she was whickering at him when he came back from his inhand graze and this morning they are BFFs and are more than happy to be in together.
