Hi! It's really good to ride lots of horses. As you can see, they are all different and require different things from the rider. Since you just started riding in June, you are still really new at this! But congratulations for trying!

Look what you are learning by riding two so very different horses -- with the first horse, you are learning to keep your legs quiet as he needs little prompting. With Chaz, you are learning to *turn up the volume* so to speak. So, you are learning to FINE TUNE your aids to a specific horse.

It seems hard now, but it's really good for you as a rider. If you only rode ONE horse, you'd only know how to ride ONE horse. As you progress with your riding, every horse will teach you something different, and believe me, it will make you a BETTER rider!

Having said all that, if you feel that one horse is too much horse for you, then tell your instructor. You are paying for your lessons, and if you are uncomfortable at any time, your instructor should know. There is a saying -- RIDE WHERE YOU CAN, NOT WHERE YOU CAN'T. There is NO shame in saying *you know, so-and-so makes me nervous, can I stay off of him for the next month or so?*

Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
