Today it was the Mosspaul ride, which leaves Hawick at noon, gets to Mosspaul at 3pm, 2 hour break, then back home to Hawick around 8pm.Long day for the horses, it was bitterly cold at Mosspaul when they arrived - a few casualties, lost shoes, one rider with what looked like broken arm, but still in the plate!
Watch out Buddy, your turn next year - girls were only recently allowed to take part, it was men only for years, so we should support it.
