Hello I am learning to ride in my 50s..havent been horsey since childhood when I rode ponies in a group without any instructions ...finding it all fascinating and puzzling, hard to remember all the new things im learning..looking for ward to some discussions, Kate

I too learned later in life. It is lovely.
For forgetting. I forget everything. I used to make lesson notes on the computer as soon as I got home. I would read the notes before going to the next lesson. But though I had an excellent RI, in all those years she never returned to practise that same thing the next week.

Congratulations on coming back to the horse world. I had a break from horses for about 15 years and I have absolutely no idea how I did that, now they are my life again I wouldn’t have it any other way.
