Help! What to do with a rug!

About a month ago Lloyd's rug got pulled off the gate and trampled in mud while i was out hacking. Its a really good rug but totaly ruined. Is there anything I can do with it?
Lloyd has a new rug now but the other one is better as it has a bit for his neck.
Another one is how can I stop his anti-rub rug from slipping?

Can you get it washed and repaired? Only costs about £12 here for a h/w

Me and my mum saw and advert for a person who specialized in rug washing but we don't know how much it would be.

put it in a duvet cover and tie the ends (so no buckles are free to get stuck in the washer),then take it to you local laundrette and wash it,easy peasy.

OMG that is genius my local lauderette dont allow horse rugs so would also be a brilliant way to smuggle them in muhahahaha

I take mine to my local tack shop for washing and repairs.

The washing and reproofing only costs £15 and you have to pick them up within 12 months so you get a years free storage included too wihich is great as I collect it when I need to swap rugs

The repairs are cheap too. I had a few tears in one and a leg strap that needed a new swivel clip and the whole lot only cost less than 4 quid. I don't sew!
