So, we pull up through the gate into the field the horses are in. Albert is off munching, Rhia and Freja are stood dozing around a black mound on the floor. It was very cold here last night (as I am sure it was for loads of you). The black mound (Holly) was the only one that didn't look over at the noisy car driving through the field :frown: I have just taken my car to the garage because the exhaust is making the worst noise ever. I honestly thought Holly was dead. I couldn't see any movement, she was flat out with me driving faster towards her in a panic. By 5 metres away I was sure she was dead I stopped the car jumped out with the car going "vrr vrrr vrrr vrrr vrrr vrrr vrrr" when - about 2 metres away, Hollys head leaps up from a deep sleep and looks at me. Scared me so much, probably scared her too. I gave her a big big cuddle whilst she was still curled up on the floor then she stood up and had a stretch and yawn without a care in the world. :stomp: Actually- it made me think for a moment and count my blessings. All 4 horses happy and healthy- and Holly feeling so safe and settled she can go into a deep deep sleep in the middle of the field- which is quite good considering the herd gained one just over a week ago.
