Horsebox Roadtax (Tax disk) Question Please

Sorry just me! A little thick as you know...
As dont use the old horsebox over winter forgot that Renewal for road tax
is due the end of this month...
Field next to laybye so cant park it off road etc..and have it on side road near my house so cant do the Sorn thing..
As many at this time of year skint and dont get paid again untill end of the month also cant find the insurance cover note but am insured etc..

Question I see that you can do the Renewal over the net or phone
Can I ask do you need your insurance cover note infront of you when you do this?
Also if I did this on the 30th of Dec how long would it take for disk to come?
Also would I get fined for having out of date disk on box if new disk did not come on time as Christmas etc?

No you dont need insurance to do online / over phone. You will need the V5 (log book) id you dont have the tax reminder.
Disc normally arrives within 3 working days.
You could be prosecuted for failure to display valid tax disk but unlikely so long as you have applied for it.

not find any insurance information
