How far do you travel toyour yard
I was on two yards where I had to travel up to 40 minutes, and left because in the winter, it took much longer, and found it really exhausting. The one I moved to was only about 20 minutes away, but again up to 30 in the Winter.
I think I could probably have coped better when I was younger, but now I'm getting on a bit <g> I just can't manage the longer journeys.
Having said all that tho, I think it's pretty important that your horse is happy on a yard, so maybe the extra travel is worth it.

12 minutes in the car 
and it's on no main roads so no traffic, unless we get stuck behind a tractor!

Less than a mile! I dont think I could have oned a horse if she was stabled more than 5 miles away
It's exactly 15 mins to mine from my house. It's only about 4 miles but you have to double back on yourself quite a bit going through housing estates so it takes a while to get there!
