i want to feed dengie senior to my pony as a partal replacement for hay.

she is 13.2hh and has a condition score of about 3.5 to 4 (on 1 to 5 scale)

she is in medium work now and will be going into hard work so i dont really need to cut down the amount she gets i am hopeing she will loose a little weight through the work she is doing.

she now gets a bout 3 kg of hay and 1 kg of sports mix. 1 kg of soaked sugar beet and 0.5 kg of dengie alfa a senior. how much of the senior could i feed?

OR have a look on the bag, it will say on the back what the reccommended amounts are

The best way to do it would be to work out 2 percent of her bodyweight and ensure she has this amount of feed per day. This is ALL feed, including grass, hay, hard feed etc. The more fibre in this equation the better and no 'meal' should be more than approx. 1.5kgs (ie bucket feed).
