How to make a horsey birthday cake

Any ideas on what to put in/how to make a cake for a horse to eat?
Its Amys birthday saturday and my son wants to make her a cake:rolleyes:
So for those of you who do this too, can they eat a 'normal' human food cake or do you have special 'horse friendly' recipes??
