Norfolk/Suffolk border
Has any one out there heard of/used Alan Slater.
He is a trained vet based in Norfolk who is also a human/equine chiro.
A friend has organised for him to come to our yard next week and work on the horse and rider.
Not quite sure what to expect as have only seen an oesteopath myself before.
Is there a big difference between between chiro and oesteo?

Karen

Not heard of him, but would be interested in how you get on - I too am on the Norfolk/Suffolk border (but have only been here 2 1/2 years) and am always interested in who's who and what they are like :D
ETA: I have had both chiro and osteo treatments, I think they are pretty similar but the osteo seems to do a bit more muscle work then a chiro who is more about bone alignment :D

Jessey,
He is coming to us next Thursday, will let you know how we get on.
I believe he comes from the Swaffham area.
I'm in Thetford but stabled at a livery yard 7miles away at East Harling.
Where abouts are you on the border.

We're just over by Mundford and the pone's are at Brandon - very close by :D

I would definatly like to know how you get on, I really need to see a chiro again but after a bad experiance with one a few years back I don't like to just visit anyone, I like recomendations :D

Jessey,
You really are close by.
Have pm'd you with info on local human osteo who is very good.
She also has horses and used to do point to point so knows all about the kind of problems riders have.
