how much are you charged for call out fee & 1 injection?
4 of the horses at the yard was ready for boosters
including mine
so 4 of us shared out a £40 call out fee
harvey had his tet jab and the total vet bill was £29.61


is that reasonable?

£32.48 for combined flu and tet plus £40 call out charge, so yes i think yours is reasonable

Very! Cheapest I can get it is around £38 (for the jabs), no call out on a Thursday - they have a zone system

and moorhouse i think is £20

we try to get a few on the yard to have the vet at the same to to share the callout between everyone otherwise it gets really expensive

We have a zone system for routine stuff,

I just paid £41.80 for Lance's second lot of jabs, all inc.

On a non-zone day I think it would be £71.80!

That's what we pay, well we don't now as have transport so transport horses to the vets and save £60 call out

Not sure about injections in general but my vet has charged £38 incl callout for annual flu & tet vaccinations for the last 5/6 years. It's cheaper if it's a shared callout but how much cheaper depends on how many people are sharing the visit. I did get flu & tet and microchipping done once for the grand total of £18!
