Is there any reason why I couldn't wear a junior hat?

I am an adult with a size 6 7/8 head. As the thread title basically says, could I save money and buy a junior skull cap or would it still be too small?

As long as it fits there there is no reason you shouldn't. I have a junior skull cap with Thellwall pictures on the label :)

I think the difference is there is no VAT on junior ones ;) I do wonder though if they are perhaps rated differently in the expected weight of the person wearing them, I would call the manufacturer and ask the difference :)

Lucky you squidsin, I am envious of anyone who is tiny enough to buy children's clothes/riding hats and avoid the VAT.

I just have a small head, like the rest of my small headed family! I'm way too tall for kids' clothes otherwise!

Rather OT but did you know we pay VAT on women's sanitary products? I suppose it is common knowledge but I only found out the other day! So not fair.
I think one or all of the parties are muttering about cutting this, as an election pledge. It doesn't make sense that nappies are VAT free and tampons aren't!

I've always had junior hats as I've got a small head - I blame the lack of brain cells, personally :D

I was told by the manufacturer that the ability to take an impact isn't compromised for an adult wearing a junior hat.

I think disposable nappies should have VAT on them purely for the environmental impact. I know tampons aren't great either but you use less tampons than nappies and they are also considerably smaller!

My little head is a junior. Small head full of air :)
I can't get into kids clothes but I do buy kids shoes. Who cares for the yard if boots are adult or kids.

Cloth nappies cause 10 times the washing disposable ones do. With cloth ones it's generally a full cot change every morning and wash.

I think the electricity used and chemicals and washing powder is as un eco friendly as disposable nappies are perceived to be, that and the sore bums cloth ones cause. I HATED cloth nappies, I tried them and they were useless.

I used cloth nappies on my kids and loved them! They ARE more eco-friendly than disposables but that's another argument for another place and time! But then again I am a weirdo who actually enjoys doing laundry!
