Jazz did her 3rd (64% walk/trot) and 4th (57% walk/trot/canter) dressage tests today. I'm not really a dressage person... just do it because it needs to be done for eventing kind of person. Our first test in August 2012 was 43% so we've come a long way!

Even last night she was doing airs above the ground at canter and rearing on downwards from trot to canter transitions (she hates her loose ring bit, so went back to the eggbutt snaffle). I was tempted to chuck Cheeky on the trailer today instead! But she went really calmly today (even though she stopped for a poo down the centre line of one test) and we've addressed her running through the paces and head-flicking that started about 6 months ago. She's now slower (too slow) and needs to go a bit more forward, but it's lovely to have control back.

She has just turned five.

So... links to our videos. (Not looking for critique, my instructor and I know what's up - but just sharing how we went). :)
