with regards to my daughter and her confidence, she went into the school on the fat shetland again last night and again was happy with no leader(a great achievement) i turned round to close the gate and heard an almighty scream....the pony was rolling with her on his back!
i ran over as fast as i could and managed to pull her out before he got all the way over, needless to say she was totally shaken up, a bit sore(no real damage luckily the sand was deep and soft) and after some jocking and persuading on my part i got her to get back on, she wanted a leader but i don't blame her! and she did really well, even managing a few trots etc but i think its another case of 1 step forward 2 steps back!
