Looking for inspiration

Following our successful Halloween meet up I thought it would be good to find other excuses to get horsey folk together, especially over the dark winter nights, so I need some ideas.

We are doing a boxing day ride
I have offered to show people how to make rope halters (bring your own supplies so its otherwise free)
I can also braid various things from paracord (reins, bridles etc.) and that's pretty easy to learn
I'm going to try and convince our local feed manufacturer to come and give a talk

The village pub/social club we stopped at on Sunday with the horses have offered to let us hold any meet up there

Any other ideas? doesn't need to be stuff I can do, I can cajoule others to share their skills too

Table top tack sale?
As you said feed manufacturer, and can they also bring a portable weigh scales thingy? That was popular near me.
Oh and also our vet did a basic first aid for horses talk which was fab. We got to practice feeling for pulses and applying bandages ( to a very patient, bemused pony)
