Have started to look for a pony for my daughter. Right now she is riding a 15.2 mare on lead rein. She is also learning from the ground up. She is spending the winter at the stables with me mucking out and doing all of the work. Who knew a six-year-old could muck out like a pro? shes just peeved shes not big enough to shovel the muck onto the pile.
But, we are looking for something more her size. She is around 4ft 3 now and confident both on the ground and in the saddle. We are in the north-west and would be happy with a long-term loan, or something that doesn't cost the earth. Safe and sane is my main concern.
