Blooming rugs!!!

Good job I can sew and have an industrial machine... mending 3 holes in Flash’s medium weight. No small holes either.

Already mended a meaty great gash in his lightweight.

Yard are on pain of disembowelment by pitchfork to turn him out in his heavyweight without a lightweight no fill over it.

Mended a metre-long rip in a mate’s rug last night. Honestly. Driving me potty!

Glue. :D

Sew the rip and patch over the top using glue.
Lovely stuff.
I bet if the cobs spare falls apart, those patches will still be there.

Also try to aim for 1000 denier plus.

I'm with Newforest. Having killed my sewing machine repairing rugs, I now stitch with fishing line and patch over the top with Stormsure glue.

When I throw a rug away I cut off and keep all clips, straps and a big patch of outer for repairing others.

I am so grateful Jess and Hank aren't rug trashers, Bo used to be though so I feel for you, it drove me nuts but I got pretty speedy at sewing them up by hand and never had one leak as long as it wasn't up on the back :)
