Went a country show up the road from me yesterday and oh my gosh this chicken was HUGE!


It was like the size of a lab!


Swear it was being fed steriods! Sadly no pic's....you had to pay a pound for a pic of said chicken! :mad:


Seriously if you were a fox you wouldnt try it on with that thing!


So yes thought id share that piece of excitement with you all!
 
I quite often read posts just because the title catches my eye when I go to the home page - now that was a post title I couldnt resist! Would have loved to see a pic, but i wouldnt have paid a pound either!
 
wow, are you sure it wasn't a goose lol. I think a breed called "jersey giant" is the biggest breed of chicken ever, don't know if you can get them here though! (or in the UK)
 
Jersey Giants aren't as tall as Malays. I'm keeping my eye out for a couple of Malay hens as they are fantastic :)
