i posted a thread yesterday about fly rugs - and the fact I had ended up with 3, none of which were right for Blue
Basically he needs the protection for his tail and tummy (where he kicks a lot) , but the necks were wrecking his mane - a job ably started by his combo at the tailend of winter
Sooooo.... this is the result of my butchery! Ha ha! I unpicked the neck from this rug as it is the one that fits him best and hey presto! What do you think?
ISnt his mane awful The bottom section went thin and a lot fell out because of the rug, then I solocombed it shorter to try and make it less obvious, but it ended up sticking up all over. That was a few weeks ago and it seems to be getting shorter instead of growing!
