My horse used to crow hop when I would ride him but we realized that it was just ill fitting tack so I stopped riding him with a saddle and I started sitting on his back on an extra thick bareback saddle and he seems just fine with me sitting on his back and someone leading him around the arena but if I brush my heels against his sides he points his ears back and he just seems annoyed. also back when we first got him I was riding him and someone was walking him around and I nudged his sides and he went completely CRAZY he started bucking and trying to bolt away and it scared me and now every time my heels brush up against his sides he seems to get annoyed. so I actually haven't really tried to nudge his sides because I'm afraid of what he might do!🙁
if you have any good advice to help me I'd be really happy to hear what you think! Thanks!❤

Ive just replied to your lunging thread. Now ive read this thread as well. You seriously need to get some professional help in.
First port of call is to Get your vet in to check his back and his sensitive areas.
He could be uncomfortable if hes got ulcers.
Talk to them about the lunging and riding issues so the vet has a clear picture of his behaviour.

I haven't seen your other thread yet but my immediate reaction to this is you start by getting the vet out straight away since a physical problem seems likely. Tell him everything, not what you think he needs to know, and be prepared for him to need some tests or further investigations. Once any physical problems have been dealt with then, and only then, get some professional helpto get him going again with a correctly fitted saddle.

Yeah I’d definitely be getting the vet out for a work up initially, a top to toe check and tell them an all the issues and be prepared show them what happens.
