Baby Bear - Nothing is too ingrained that it cannot be altered if there is a desire to do so. Everyone’s unique personality traits, idiosyncrasies and plain simple quirkiness’s is what makes us human; no need to change them unless they become destructive or interfere with normal life, if they do, then you have 2 choices, put up with them and accept the consequences or change them! Anyone can change anything they don’t like about themselvesf if they want to. You were born with a blank canvas and a lot of who you are is down to what others have imposed/told you through the years, and if the impositions are good, then no problem, if not and you add some other negative aspects along the way, then you may not like the end results. By constantly working on checking and challenging how you think, it is possible to re-program your way of thinking but it takes practice! If for example you tell yourself for 30 years that perfection is good... it’s necessary to be a good person... nothing less is good enough, or you are a failure, then it’s going to take some time to undo 30 years of that kind of self-talk, but it can most certainly be done.
