Well I had a horrible day to end a terrible week but had my riding lesson to look forward to, to finish the week. I was out of my comfort zone as I had to ride a different horse, my usual LeRoy is recovering from colic. Lewis is a tbxriding pony so much bouncier strides, more forward. WjWhat's really nice is I'm realising I am so much more confident, even thoughiI was out of my comfort zone I relaxed much more quickly than I used to do.

Ugh I accidentally hit send before I was done. again.
Interesting lesson on Lewis. I learned to ask for an extended trot vs a collected trot vs a working trot. Did lots of transitions between them and really gave both him and me a workout. I wwas really interesting to feel the differences in the trot and how he responded, how different they were to ride.
Next week - back to LeRoy and learning to canter

Happens to me Allll The time! Even though I'm not having a great week. I always look forward to that one day when I can relax and ride Bucky! It cheers me up and gets me excited..like right now.. tomorrow I have a lesson.. and I can't wait!
