Oh dear ... Petri has teamed up with Freya .. this can't end well ..

Ok .. as you may know we have moved to summer field .. and Freya has been moved in with the old girls Petri & Maddie .. Maddie is 23, Petri is almost 17 .. Freya is 3 ..

Freya is a playful boisterous 3 year old ..

about 2 hours ago I get a call ... Petri and Freya have just been spotted on the main road down from our field ... I go into blind panic, phone OH to get home immediately and phone a taxi to get up there, give "I" a text to say thats us called taxi and heading up ..

get a phone call back to say all is ok, they have been caught and have been put into next doors field till we can sort ours .. both horses are 100% fine .. but Freyas rug is trashed .. Maddie being the old sensible horse had stayed in the field ..

whereas Petri the old NOT sensible pony had went galavanting with Freya ..

Freya is well know for escaping and trashing fences .. Petri however you would think is old enough to know better .. clearly not ..

so looks like my Ponio has a new partner in crime and could be bags of fun this summer :help:


so yes now they are all settled into next doors field and we are going up in the morning to check all our fencing and to sort the fencing they have trashed and to try and figure out how they got from there to the main road ..

goodness me they certainly know how to worry you eh ..

Girls all fine, Petri and Freya are inseparable now though LOL, thick as thieves they are :redcarded:

found how they got out and we have covered it all up so they hopefully can not get out again :banghead:

but yeah it looks like Petri has a new best friend in Freya :redcarded:

You must have been sick with worry until you heard all was okay. Whatever you have done to secure the fencing hope it is houdini proof and there are no more great escapes.

As for Petri and Freya, I couldn't help laughing at imagining their naughty faces. They are a worry but there are some very funny Thelwell-style moments along the way!
