..... it happened!!!!
In anticipation of the the saddle arriving in the next few days, I had Gracie clipped today. First one of the season so she was very woolly so I brought her in last night and gave her a bath and she stayed in for the night to dry and stay clean.... she had been VERY minging!!
My clipping lady also thinned out her tail for me and I took a saliva sample for tapeworm testing, so G had a proper pamper. After clipping she had another mini bath to get rid of more grime and grease....but finally she was ready to wear her newly-cleaned and repaired rainsheet and go back out. By this time she was pretty impatient and frog-marched me to the field! I turned her loose and she went straight to the water trough as usual. Then she took about 10 paces, dropped to the ground AND ROLLED (briefly) IN FRONT OF ME!!!! Huzzah! I've seen it at last. She then got up, leapt in the air and galloped off! Yathink she was glad to be back out??
Of course. .... I didn't have my phone with me!!
