Farrier booked early this morning to trim Boo and Albi, so I turned Jack out and then brought Boo out to give him a bit of a groom and pick his feet out ready. Only I've been a bit lazy picking out his feet lately (too muddy!) AND he was fidgeting because he wanted to be out so I had to implement the "hang on no matter what" method - and I DID successfully get them all picked out using this - but my poor old back has gone OUCH!!!! Have just popped two ibes, two paras and am sitting against a hot water bottle. Damn my aging body!!!

hot bath as hot a possible works wonders. My back has taking a pounding quiet a lot!
Hope it feels better soon! :)

I dedicated all afternoon to painkillers, a hot water bottle AND a soak in the tub and I'm actually delighted because I've manage to head it off at the pass. I'm still moving gingerly but I'm mighty impressed with how much better it feels because I made the effort to "nurse" it rather than stoically carrying on regardless. Thanks for all the good wishes xxx
