Iv just had my daughters pony microchipped and passported, when i recieved the passport i have noticed they have made a few spelling mistakes...

instead of skewbald they have put skewbad.
and the mothers name is spelt completly wrong, doesnt even say her name.

is the acceptable or should they be adjusting it????

Ditto the above - you've paid for it, make them get it right! ;)

Passport issuing bods do make mistakes, but they should correct them - we once had a nightmare with a horse due on an international transport from here to the UK. Passport arrived TWO days before he was due to travel...and he was described as a MARE and they'd typed his brand number in wrong. This was totally unacceptable to the authorities here, as 'passport didn't match the horse'!

They had to 24-hour courier me a new passport. And they did. They were amazing. DHL turned up whilst the state vet was standing in the driveway, with the horse, and the lorry from the UK! Quick rubber-stamping and signing and stapling...he was on his way. :D

Company was Pet-Id, they are fantastic. :D
