It's been hanging over me for more than a year but having had my gallbladder out in November, I finally got the biopsy results yesterday and the mysterious lump is not cancer, just a simple thickening of the gallbladder wall. So if diagnostics had been able to spot that, then I wouldn't have needed the surgery.

I am cleared to ride, to do as much as I can given it's still a bit irritable.

So back on Buddy. I had a little sit on him 10 days after surgery but when the wound started leaking, still does, I stopped. The surgeon reckons the leaking is a reaction to the internal stitches and may last a couple of months till they dissolve, and the more I do the more I may leak a little, but otherwise he wasn't worried. So that's a relief as well. 001.jpg 003.jpg 004.jpg 005.jpg

What a relief for you, shame the surgery was unnecessary but at least you haven't got the worry hanging over you now.
