This is from about 18 months ago. I bought him with the intention of doing dressage myself. Then he found his groove BE eventing with a couple of different people and as he was enjoying it so much and doing so well at it I loved it too. Then that ended and I thought I would take him out for a day out only. Schooled him once and off we went. He was awesome and looked after me so well. Pulled out a second. I got this picture framed.

He may take some time to sort out, but don't give in yet, particularly if he enjoys being out and about. I won't say ulcers are easy to manage, but if you can identify any underlying problems and sort them then there's no reason why you and he shouldn't be out doing what you want again x
