a woman I know has a lab called ben, hes 13 and has had bad health the last few years with a huge tumour on his anal glad, it was successfully removed last year, and apart from arthritis he was ok, just a stiff old dog
well, apparently he had an ear infection recently and the vet said he has a perforated eardrum and gave the dog drops to be applied 2 times a day
a few days later, joan his owner noticed him acting strange, he would look up at the ceiling, head held sideways and cry and whine, so she took him back to vet, with the drops, only to be told that the drops should never have been applied if the ear had perforated....the outcome?
The drops has seeped into thebrain causing it to swell, and he had to be pts
His last days in his old age were in pain, and it neednt have been
I think Ill always read labels from now on
