Well I've seen it all now! A young wagtail marauding a piece of carpet from the mixed fibre surface of the arena!!! Lol poor thing seems to think if it swings it about in its beak for long enough it will turn into something tasty!!! You know, its a strange place this. We have another tame pheasant boy bird (Fluffy ) and he's minus a tail. He looks a bit like a colourful hen. Oh dear. And a young robin that keeps flying from the nest and going plop in a heap on the table outside. Quite worrying! I thought it was dazed but it got up and carried on. And did it again! Anyone else got bonkers birds atm? I think it must be the weather or something! The swallows are flying about like crazy now they've left the nest. Oh and why do wagtails follow the horses about? Is it for the little flies or the horse poop in the field?
