Posting in the classified section

Is it Ok to post a few items in the classified that I am selling for my Charity fundraising that I know will still be a bargain even with postage to the UK - I know it used to be frowned on for retailers to advertise in there but does my modest little charity count as a retailer. No problem if it isn't allowed - rather know than post and get a slapped wrist!

Me too. I don't think selling to raise funds for charity can be put in the same category as retailers..Retailers are selling to line their own pockets, you are doing it for a good cause

There's a section in the classifieds forum for professional services and liveries so if they can post I see no reason why you can't post stuff for sale there, especially when you're not doing it for personal gain. Just pop it in the relevant section (not professional services) and you should be fine

That's great thanks Chev - I shall start weighing some items to get UK postage and post some of those that are still good value even with the postage.
