Norfolk and good
What price would you suggest for a 10hh shetland, good on the ground, to tack, on the lead rein and off with a confident child. Has done gymkana type shows in the past. 14yrs old. Has suffered from Lami once in the past but does well on little grass/hay.

I would say between £400 - £500 for a good one! But saying that one went a couple months back for £250 and it was a saint ridden and on the ground.

I paid £500 for Bert as a just cut 2 year old, but wanted him really badly
when I saw him, don't think for one minute I would get that now.

People are giving them away tbh, the Shetlands and Sec A's...so sad.

I would put him up for what you really think he is worth and wait and see
what interest, if any, you get, if none think about it again.

The fact that they are going for more or less 'meat money' is worrying and
thats what would worry me most about selling any Horse at the moment especially the 'smaller' ponies.

With the prices as they are, not much :( unless it has a fantastic pedigree.

When we was looking last year, the temperament etc was far more important to us than price but saying tht we was looking around the 400- 600 pound.

we did however end up going for the complete opposite to wht we started looking for.lol

She is to buy FL, just trying to work out if im being a tight butt or not :giggle:

Well I would still say not a lot tbh...........14 isn't old by any means but
add to that the fact that Shettie has had Lami and has to be very well
managed I would still say £400 max and thats expecting tack thrown in.
