Protective boots

Random one but it has been many, many years since I used protective boots, I've just started using them as Jess is being driven nuts by flies so will use until it cools down a bit. But doing them up, do you do a certain order on the straps, top to bottom, bottom to top, middle/top/bottom etc.? does it even matter?
 
I have no idea of a correct way but I've always done the middle 1st as i find it the easiest to get the boot tensioned, centred and straight so to speak.

I'm the same as @mystiquemalaika , or top strap first if only two straps. I shouldn't think it matters though, particularly if you're as sad as me and check all the straps again once the boot is on anyway. As for technically correct, well that would be boring lol

I’ve never thought about it. Whacked a set in the wee guy last week. Fronts only and he couldn’t have cared less about the whole thing. I only have a system for bandaging, not for boots :)
