I have a show coming up and my horse is hogged and legs trimmed, he is of cob type and his tail is still natural but trimmed at the bottom.

Should I leave it.......or should I pull it/trim it up at the top??

Can i see photos of your pulled/trimmed tails please!?? on cobs if possible, if not any will do :D

Thanks

Id pull the tail, or plait it :)

id pull it. ill be pulling spooky's tail soon although was looking at these little rake type things that do the job in half the time although cost about £30 but i cant remember what they are called. i tried pulling his tail before but he really didnt like it so im hoping to use one of these. he's cobby built too but x warmblood so ill be plaiting/pulling him x

i will send you a link later on holly to a tail stripper
my yo uses on her stallions mane and tails instead of pulling
you just just it as if you was brushing the top of the tail :) really good :)

if your cob is hogged then your tail should definately be pulled. it doesnt take long to do even by hand or wiyth a traditional pulling comb. juts get one with a metal handle so that your fingers dont get ripped to shreds!!
