Queen. First concert I ever went to and easily the best. I don't think the showmanship and sheer vocal range of Freddie Mercury has been matched since and they all wrote really good songs!

Definatley Queen, I was in their fanclub from 5 yrs old after I watched them at LiveAid (on the TV)! I still often play their Cd and I was so upset when Freddie died. Gutted I never got to see them.

Ah. He's one of my teenage geek memories. I was not a fashionable 16 year old - I used to listen to him and Buddy (they were my mum's era really). But waaaaay back in 1986 they re released "wonderful world" and voila - suddenly I was fash!!!!:smile: I will post a link.............
