Just got some news through, a old horse who used to be on livery at ours passed away at 21:24pm tonight.
R.I.P old fella, he was Robbie's companion for about 2 months and he never used to like other horses until Robbie broke into the field with him
They would follow each other anywhere and everywhere round the field, even shared the field shelter - and that was a big achievement for Saxon because he would usually kick and double barrel any horse which came near him.
He got up to the grand old age of 28, was a TB and was in light work at the time, his owner didn't get to say goodbye because she was rushing home from Ipswich and the traffic caught up with her.
I feel so bad for her because she owned him for 18 years and brought him as a nappy little sod to a dream to ride horse.
Hope to see you one day Saxon
Love from everyone at the yard & you will never be forgotten!
