racehorse retraing

does anybody know of any where in cumbria that can retrain racehorses to make good allrounders or if you can send them to a normal breaking and schooling stables????

send them to a normal breaking yard. we specialise in racers but a decent breaking yard should be able to deal with them fine.

I would personally look for someone with experience of ex racers. Some are straightforward others need understanding of their previous lifestyle and training.

i echo this, my lad has always been one of the more 'sensitive' ones! and it pays to have somebody who understands the racehorse
