How high can use you raise the pole before it becomes too big? Sorry if that is a thick question.

I lunged her over four raised poles rested at an angle on a tyre before the wind blew them off! These were my short 6ft poles and its the equivalent of three pole pods I think.

We used to do raised trotting poles on a milk crate. Left side up, then next pole, right side up.

Not sure how high that is, but I would think equivalent to a tyre - but maybe more stable!!

I was looking up how to build cavalettes the other day and they recommend 6-8" for the lowest, 12-16" for mid height and 20" for the top

I'm currently using PoundLand potties at the moment - he tends to get over excited by anything bigger! He loves jumping & is quite exuberant when he thinks anything off of the floor can be jumped :D I'm hoping we can increase the height, as he gets more used to the idea of raised pole work ... X
