You can report excess packaging (I think on the orders page) which is worth doing as the packers are allocated the boxes by "the system" and reporting it helps them to refine it

I think because it's a fork they should have bubble wrapped and boxed though.
Just had a dvd arrive in a bubble wrap envelope and the case is snapped in half. Probably due to the postman trying to fold it into the letter box.
I reuse packaging so excess isn't wasted that way.
