Rest in peace, Simba x

[Sooty]

This is Simba, aged 14-and-a-half. This morning I had to take him to the vet to be pts He had had mouth ulcers for some time which we had been managing with metacam (anti-inflammatory painkiller) and the occasional steroid injection. Over the past week these medications had started taking their toll on his kidneys, it was his time to go, before he was too badly affected.

He was so calm at the vets, he had a very peaceful end.

He is snuggled up in a fleece, inside a cardboard box, in a grave in our garden with a lavender bush planted above.

Rest in peace beautiful boy. You will be in our hearts forever xxx
