Showjumping has lost another great horse today. Hickstead collapsed and died at a competition. A huge loss.

Yes he was one of my favourites too :cry: Real presence on top of all that talent. His rider and groom must be devastated.
What a terrible thing to happen. Appartantly, footage of him collapsing is all over youtube. A friend posted this tribute on FB... This is the way this incredible horse should be remembered.

Lamaze & Hickstead were an incredible partnership and I find the footage absolutely breathtaking.
