saddle measuring question...

The seat size is measured from the stud on the front to the tip of the cantle I think 
Width seems to be a bit random - you can measure D ring to D ring but the measurement will vary because the D rings can be positioned in different places on different saddles, so it gives an indication of the width but it's not 100% reliable. The only way to tell of the saddle will fit is to put it on the horse unfortunately!
