Hi there!! I have a 14hh coloured cob loan mare..she's only 7-8 and a great ride... Only teensy problem atm is that in anything above walk the saddle keeps slipping, its a made to measure and be checked etc it fits her well but she is not clipped and has quite a 'slippery' coat... I've tried a non slip pad, a thinner numanh and a thicker one and no matter what once we get into trot thats it the saddle starts to slip...I've got two potential solutions... one...double girth....or two breastcollar/breastplate..
Does anyone have any experiences of this and which seems to work best...
